Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Students will have to prepare short research papers which will be discussed and evaluated in class. Participants will have the unique opportunity to discuss issues currently debated in the International Law Commission with one of its members
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
A.The course assessment will be based on the research papers handed in during the semester. The papers will be worth 70% of the final course mark.
B. Class participation is expected. It will be worth 30% of the final course mark.

Examination topics
There will be no final examination.The topics assessed will have been studied in research papers handed in during the semester.
Reading list
A set of documents and texts, as well as copies of the power point slides will be made available by the instructor.
