Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course discusses specific legal and political features of the different kinds of immunity established so far by international law: the immunity enjoyed by diplomats and similar persons, by other officials or by States. Further focus will be given to the different changes of the legal and political status of States in international relations and their subsequent effects.
Assessment and permitted materials
The course assessment will be based on class participation and a final exam. The final exam will be worth 70% of the course work.
