Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course outlines the laws and institutions governing globalization and the “three pillars” of the international economic system, namely the WTO, the World Bank Group, and the IMF. It is split into two parts: Students will first receive a basic introduction and then, in groups of three or six, present a (real) WTO or investment case of their choosing in a mock trial: one or two students act as one of the parties and the WTO/investment court rendering the decision.
