Aims, contents and method of the course

This info session is aimed at giving basic information on doctoral studies at the University of Vienna. The workshop focuses on framework conditions of studying by highlighting the key stages of doctoral study. Students are subsequently provided with an overview of the courses offered by the Center for Doctoral Studies. During the workshop questions are welcome at all times.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Main goal of this workshop is to introduce students to the doctoral study program and to provide information on necessary organizational steps and framework conditions concerning doctoral studies.

Examination topics

This is primarily an input-oriented event with the opportunity for discussions and questions.
