Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Doctoral studies typically provide graduates not only with a vast amount of knowledge in their research field and related areas but also with various competences needed to obtain the degree. In addition, however, everybody has also acquired a life’s worth of individual skills through their interests, hobbies, trainings and other experiences outside the academic world.Regardless of ability, desirable jobs are scarce in academia; far more job opportunities can be found elsewhere. This full-day workshop therefore aims to equip you with ideas, strategies and skills to promote your employability in the world outside academia by helping you to identify, flesh out and communicate the full picture of your unique set of knowledge, competences and skills for non-academic employment purposes.
