Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This half-day language workshop aims at helping participants to make their English sound more authentic and avoid typical pronunciation and related vocabulary mistakes by taking a closer look at these problems from the non-native speaker perspective. We will focus on exploring and practicing problem sounds (v/w, th, etc.) and sound sequences (-ction, -able, etc.) as well as homographs (words with one spelling but different pronunciations for different meanings or grammatical functions).
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Aided by trainer input and feedback, participants will practice and consolidate their pronunciation individually as well as in pairs and small groups.
