Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Digital teaching, online meetings or telephone conferences bring special communicative challenges:

With your voice as a control and relationship instrument, you not only convey your basic mood, your vocal form of the day, and your presence, but you also shape your content all the more through your voice and manner of speaking when, in the digital setting, there is a lack of direct and often visual contact with the other person, your body language expression is reduced, or you even feel that you are speaking into the void. Suboptimal viewing, posture and lighting conditions do the rest; paths to the event location, which many use for (mental) preparation, are omitted. And certain voice qualities are disadvantaged by voice processing mechanisms in video conferences. So what can you do about it?

In this workshop (via Zoom), you'll learn and experience the most important tools for successful online performances and conference calls:

- Too high, too low? Finding your personal voice pitch
- Easy to understand: Speech tempo and pauses
- From monotony to melody: voice control
- Warming-up for voice and presence
- Tips and tricks for digital teaching
- Impulses and exchange
