Aims, contents and method of the course

The workshop Time and Selfmanagement is designed to deal with the own style of work, the development of goals and timetables as well as learning about and applying tools of time- and selfmanagement.

Contents:
- Identification of personal work style (persolog personality model) as well as of 'time traps'.
- Developing strategies for effective use of time.
- Define goals, implement plans and manage (scientific) projects.
- How to deal with different roles and manage your daily life.
- Effectiveness versus efficiency - methods of prioritization.
- Getting to know the scheduling instruments.
- Deal with stress and personal energies focused 'right'.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

- Assessment of own work style and timing behavior.
- Learning and applying methods of project and goal planning as well as time management tools

Examination topics

Theoretical input, self-reflection, individual and group work, discussion.
