Assessment and permitted materials
Type of performance assessment: Oral module examination. The oral examination is not aimed at merely "reproducing the subject matter", but is intended to show the extent to which the examinees have made the basic knowledge in the field of pastoral care their own, so that they can draw on it in an argumentative manner. The combination of regular attendance at lectures with independent, in-depth reading is the recommended standard for effective examination preparation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimum requirements and grading scale: Grading is based on a 15-minute examination discussion, which is based on the following grading scale (see below). The percentage values refer to the extent to which the questions raised in the examination interview can be answered. The examination is intended to show the extent to which the candidates have acquired the basic knowledge in the subject of liturgy so that they can draw on it in their work. This means that the examinations are not aimed at merely "reproducing the subject matter", but include the acquisition of the content through reading. The introductory lectures provide an exemplary introduction to the argumentation of the respective subject area (basic knowledge) and offer didactic tips for independent reading as well as for necessary deepening of the material (specialized knowledge). The combination of regular attendance at lectures with independent, in-depth reading is the recommended standard for effective learning.
