WHEN?
Due to COVID - 19 it is not possible to hold regular written exams with our physical presence. To ensure that each of you gets the opportunity to complete the course this semester, regardless of the general situation (e.g., whether or not you are in Vienna), I will offer mini-essay exams as an exam solution. On the day of the exam at 10 a.m., you will receive 2 topics posted on Moodle. You will have to select one topic and write a minimum of 2-page and a maximum of three-page paper which you have to turn in within 24 hours ( will not accept late turn-ins). I will grade these papers which will be your final grade. However, the essays will heavily build on the material of the slides. That is, you will still need to have disgested the slides before the exam in order to be able to pull off a paper in 24 hours. I hope this solution is okay with you.
The format should be 1.5 line space, size 12 pt Times New Roman and at the end of the paper, you will have to create a reference list of the cited materials (websites, scientific articles, etc). The header of each page should include your full name and student ID. The title should clearly indicate the topic you have chosen. "
