Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment will be by closed-book written essay examination at the end of the course.

***INFORMATION FOR THIRD SITTING***

Due to the restrictions placed on teaching in the wake of the Coronavirus crisis, the third sitting of the final exam for this class will be conducted as a timed "take-home" exam delivered via Moodle. Students should register as usual for the exam on u:space and, when registration has closed, will be added to an additional Moodle course. The exam paper will be made available at the beginning of the test window; students will have three hours to complete the exam and upload their answers to Moodle.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum passing grade for the exam is 51%. Key readings for the lecture topics will be provided each week in the course Moodle, on which the examination will be based.
