Information

Examination topics

Lecture material and accompanying literature, if noted as compulsory reading. Slides and compulsory reading are provided on Moodle.

Assessment and permitted materials

The performance assessment takes the form of a 90-minute written examination at the end of the semester. Three further examination dates follow in the next semester.

The examination takes place digitally via Moodle. Examination mode: Download of an examination sheet. Choice of three out of four open questions (no multiple choice questions!), which have to be answered in complete sentences (no keywords!). Maximum length of the answer to a question 3,000 characters (without spaces), excluding footnotes. Examination in open-book format: Auxiliary resources (manuals, resources provided by teachers) are allowed, but must be cited (rules of good scientific practice). This applies in particular to online resources in order to be able to check their scientific validity. Secondary sources that are not publicly accessible (e.g. external transcripts, external examination papers) are not citable and may not be used during the examination.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students are expected to actively participate in the lecture (preparation of compulsory reading for the individual lectures).

Minimum requirement: Achievement of at least 50% of the maximum number of points in the written examination, each question must be assessed with at least 5 points.
Assessment standard:

The three questions will be marked out of 10 marks each.
