Die Vorlesung legt einen wichtigen Grundstein für Ihr weiteres Studium: Sie lernen Themen der bildenden Kunst zu erkennen und korrekt zu benennen sowie einfachere ikonographische Programme zu entschlüsseln. Darüber hinaus vermittelt die Vorlesung weiteres terminologisches Grundwissen zu den Bildkünsten.
