Examination topics

Lecture contents (lecture, discussions and powerpoints), selected course literature and selected literary texts (will be anounced at the beginning of the semester).

Assessment and permitted materials

Written examination. In the written exam, you can choose two out of a total of five questions on the aspects of East African literary history covered in the lecture. The exam is open book.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Much of the course reading is in English. Knowledge of English is therefore required, knowledge of French is of advantage.
