The exam for the PR part will take place online and consist of two parts: answering a total of 15 questions and writing an essay. The exam questions will be asked partly as a single choice, partly openly. For the essay, you will be given two topics, from which you will choose one to answer.

This lecture is part of the STEOP. It is examined as part of the STEOP module examination

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The lecture is considered passed if at least 60% of the maximum number of points for the written examination is achieved. Grades are awarded according to the following scheme:

100% -90% of the total number of points: Grade 1
89% -80% of the total number of points: grade 2
79% -70% of the total number of points: grade 3
69% -60% of the total number of points: grade 4
59% -0% of the total number of points: grade 5

IMPORTANT: The rules of good scientific practice apply. According to the valid regulations of the University of Vienna, the submitted examination can be subjected to a plagiarism check for control purposes (turnitin). Within the assessment period of four weeks, oral inquiries can also be made regarding the subject matter of the examination (plausibility check). According to the Austrian University Act, "[e]plagiarism [...] exists in any case if text passages, theories, hypotheses, findings or data are taken over and passed off as one's own without acknowledging the source or the author" (§ 51 Abs 2 Z 31 UG 2002, see also link of the Studienpräses to the definition of plagiarism:

It is therefore forbidden, when using additional aids (e.g. additional texts), to include foreign content unchanged (copy-paste) in one's own examination without marking the copied passage and indicating the source.
