Assessment and permitted materials

Written examination

The examination will be held electronically and is designed as “open book exam”, i.e. you are allowed to use books, Powerpoint presentations and your own notes. It is not allowed in incorporate other individuals. By submitting your examination you confirm that you have elaborated the answers exclusively by yourself (with using the allowed means). Note that the University if Vienna’s rules of plagiarism also apply to this examination, including that you are obliged to mark quotations and provide the sources and to provide the sources for information incorporated into your answers. Technically the examination will be conducted that candidates must register for the examination on the University of Vienna’s examination system (pay attention to deadlines!). Only those registered for the examination can participate. On examination day you need to confirm your participation. Only confirmed participants can take part of the examination. All confirmed candidates will be graded. After confirmation of participation you will receive the examination questions and have a time window to elaborate the questions and to upload your answers to Moodle and send them per e-mail to wolfgang.mueller@univie.ac.at.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

51 (of 100) points in the written examination. Scheme for grading: 1–50 points: 5, 51–60 points: 4, 51–60 points: 3, 71–75 points: 2, 86–100 points: 1.
