Examination topics

Basic properties of algebraic curves, affine and projective varieties, the Zariski topology, morphisms, local and global properties, and classical examples as discussed in the lecture course.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written closed-book examination at the end of the lecture course. There will be exercise sheets supported by exercise sessions to prepare for the examination questions.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Passing the examination.
