Assessment and permitted materials
Examintion:
written exam (Modulprüfung) 'Physikalische Chemie I – Einführung und Thermodynamik'. The exam is in presence, in German, 3hPermitted utilities:
- simple (!) scientific calculator
- set square
- a sheet of paper (DIN A4) with notes written by hand, this is NO copies, NO print outs! Notes: one-sided only! The notes are part of the written exam and have to be handed in at the end of the exam. The notes are graded! A useful application of three notes in the exam is valued 5 points in the exam.

50% of the points achievable in the written exam are required to pass the exam.
85.0 - 100.0 points: grade 1
75.0 - 84.5 points: grade 2
62.5 - 74.5 points: grade 3
50.0 - 62.0 points: grade 4
0.0 - 49.5 points: grade 5Attention:
A reasonable application of (at least) three notes from your hand written notes (see also Hilfsmittel) is part of the exam and worth 5 points.
Bonus points can be generated by active participation in PUE LV 270055. For details see PUE LV 270055 (please consider the validity period of the bonus points).
85.0 - 100.0 points: grade 1
75.0 - 84.5 points: grade 2
