Examination topics

Lecture: introductory talks including demonstration of relevant plant material and literature. Selected core topics will be presented in a seminar-like manner.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge of major biosynthetic routes of secondary metabolites and their occurrence in important (economic) plants. Practical relevance of secondary plant products.
