Understanding of the foundational physics, operational principles, and material requirements for

1. SQUIDs - superconducting quantum interference devices

2. SNSPDs - superconducting single-photon detectors

3. RSFQs - rapid single-flux quanta devices

4. Superconducting resonators and transmission lines

Assessment and permitted materials

1. Attendance of more than 9 (of 12) lectures.

2. Scientific presentation (25-minute talk) on an actual topic of superconducting quantum technologies.

3. Active discussion (=at least one question) of the presentations given by groupmates.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

1. Attendance of more than 9 (of 12) lectures

2. Scientific presentation (25 minutes excl. anwering questions) on an actual topic of superconducting quantum technologies

3. Regular active discussion (=at least one question from each listener) of the presentations given by the groupmates
