The literature is partly in German and partly in English. The short papers can be written in either language.

Assessment and permitted materials
There is a choice of 5 essay questions, 3 of which are to be written as a short paper of 1-2 pages each.
The questions are announced 1 week before the examination date, the submission is done by uploading to the submission folder on Moodle. (accounts for 75% of the grade)
A bibliography with at least 20 entries on a selected topic must also be uploaded by the selected examination date. The topic is selected from a list of topics provided. This list, as well as more detailed requirements for the bibliography, will be discussed in the course and made available on Moodle. (accounts for 25% of the grade)
Both parts - short essays AND bibliography - have to be handed in.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Both parts of the examination, i.e. short essays ( 75%) AND bibliography (25%), must be uploaded in the appropriate folder by the time of the examination.Grading scheme:
Very good: 100-90 per cent
Good: 89-75 percent
Satisfactory: 74-60 percent
Sufficient: 59-50 percent
Not sufficient: 49-0 percent
