Examination topics

Materials underlying the two lectures from WS 2023/24 030455 VO "Political Philosophy and Philosophy of Law: Historical Foundations" and 030457 VO "Political Philosophy and Philosophy of Law: Current Challenges". The Materials are available for download on moodle.

From the examination date 03.03.2025, the new published textbook by Prof. Somek ‘Legal and Political Philosophy - An Outline for Students’, Verlag Österreich ISBN 978-3-7046-9589-5 is also recommended as an examination basis!

Assessment and permitted materials

Answers to the 10 -16 questions, for each of which the students can score roughly 3 points (depending on the scope of the answer).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Obtaining a passing grade depends on scoring 50 percent of the points. The other grades are accorded in proportion to which the students reach 95 percent.
