Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Knowledge about the basics of semiconductor physics and the interactions of semiconductors with photons; Practical application of semiconductor components in photovoltaics. Building on a solid basis in semiconductor physics, the lecture conveys knowledge on applications of semiconductor physics in optoelectronic components and in photovoltaics. The exam tests the understanding of the presented physical concepts and their technical application.
