Very important: There are new regulations regarding registration and deregistration (according to the SPL-circular of June 13th). These are as follows:
"- The students are themselves responsible for registering for the desired exam date, or cancelling their registrations, before the relevant deadline.
Students who do not register in time will not be allowed to take the exam. Those who do not cancel their registration for an examination in time but do not show up must be entered as NE (= nicht erschienen) and are blocked for the chronologically next examination date.
- After the registration deadline, i.e. 72 hours before the exam, the SSC will no longer carry out late registrations for exams.
We therefore also ask you as teachers to reject any requests for late registrations and not to forward such requests to the SSC."

Note: The time of your registration within the registration period has no effect on the allocation of places (no first come, first served).

Examination topics
Themen der Vorlesung, wie sie in den Präsentationsfolien und im Reader abgebildet werden.
Assessment and permitted materials
Schriftliche Prüfungen. Der Reader darf zur Prüfung mitgebracht und in deren Rahmen verwendet werden.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die Prüfung umfasst 4 Fragen/Themen, von denen 2 ausgewählt und bearbeitet werden sollen. Von zentraler Bedeutung für die Beurteilung ist die Erkennbarkeit eigenständiger, reflektierter Beschäftigung mit den Themen der LV.
Eine eigenständige, reflektierte Beschäftigung mit den Themen der LV soll im Rahmen der Prüfungsarbeit erkennbar sein. Wichtiger als die Reproduktion von Wissensbeständen ist aus meiner Sicht erkennbare Beschäftigung mit Themen und Problemstellungen der VO. Deshalb werden bei der Prüfung offene Fragen gestellt, die in so beantwortet werden sollen, dass eine kohärente und konsistente Argumentation Ausdruck findet, desgleichen eine zumindest rudimentäre Beschäftigung mit themenrelevanter Literatur und Bezugnahme auf diese.
