Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

No previous knowledge of Modern Greek is required. Familiarity with the Modern Greek alphabet is desired but similarly no prerequisite. Knowledge of basic grammatical terms is presupposed.

English and German are the working languages of the course, therefore average knowledge of both is a must. PPT-slides will be in English. Lectures will be held in English and/or German according to the course participants requirements.

Basic grammatical/linguistic terms will be clarified in both languages.

Grading key: 55-65% = 4, 65-75% = 3, 76-89% = 2, 90-100% = 1
