Examination topics

Lecture and group discussion. Reading of basic literature. It is possible to participate in a field research (interviews with former labor migrants).

Assessment and permitted materials

Written examen

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Familiarity with the history of labor migration and its significance for the social structural change. Reading and discussing sociological research and literature. Empirically based analysis of the social position and living conditions of former migrant workers.
