f. Eastern European History

Das Modul setzt sich das Ziel, grundlegende Kenntnisse aus der Geschichte Osteuropas zu vermitteln. Es wendet sich nicht nur an GeschichtsstudentInnen, die bereits einschlägige sprachliche und fachliche Vorkenntnisse haben, sondern an alle Studierenden auch aus verwandten Disziplinen, um ihnen den Einstieg in die Geschichte und Gegenwart einer historischen Großregion, die gerade aus österreichischer Perspektive zunehmend in den Mittelpunkt des aktuellen
Interesses rückt, zu ermöglichen. Das Modul soll alle drei Epochen (Mittelalter, Neuzeit, Zeitgeschichte) sowie alle drei Teilregionen (Ostmitteleuropa, Osteuropa im engeren Sinne, Südosteuropa) abdecken.
