4. Additional Individual Specialisation (IS)
In this module, students may choose additional courses according to their topical interest. These may be selected from the teaching offer within the master programme, e.g. the research specialisations or additional social science methods courses, or from other curricula. Recommended further options include gender perspectives, ethics of science and technology, history of science, cultural studies, or additional methods courses offered by other departments.All courses other than those from the STS master programme must be approved by the responsible vice-dean of studies before doing the course.
