Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Vorlesung bringt Ihnen Computer- und Kommunikationsnetze näher, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf dem Internet und den damit zusammenhängenden Technologien. Wir betrachten sowohl theoretische Grundlagen als auch praktische Anwendungen aller Ebenen des Schichtmodells. Der Vortrag orientiert sich an der angegebenen Literatur und greift als Diskussionsthemen auch aktuelle gesellschaftliche und politische Entwicklungen aus Netzsicht auf.

Assessment and permitted materials

Schriftliche Prüfung am Semesterende (100% der möglichen Punkte).

Zusätzliche 15 Bonusprozentpunkte können durch aktive Teilnahme an den VO-Terminen und im Moodle-Forum, kollaborative Mitschriften sowie kleine Studien erreicht werden.
