The excursion will take place from 13 to 15 June 2019 (departure from Vienna on 13 June at 7 am, return on 15 June at 9 pm).
In the course on 8 May, students and pupils who take part in the excursion will meet and discuss the excursion to the Haus der Geschichte Österreich. At the same time the preparations for the trip to Brussels will be made.

Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim is a critical analysis and comparison of the Austrian and European culture of remembrance. Visits to exhibitions, the deconstruction of exhibitions, lectures on a specific topic, the cooperation of students and pupils are central components of the course or excursion.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The final papers, the presentations and the cooperation (didactic skills) with the pupils taking part in the excursion will be assessed.
