Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In the seminar, we will discuss MA final projects - from initial ideas to writing the introduction and outline, the foundation of research questions to the presentation and final revision. In addition, we will practise presentations and exchange working experiences. All MA students who are beginning to think about completing their studies are invited. The discussion of the projects will be supported by preparatory joint reading. We will work in German or English.

Assessment and permitted materials

Performance includes regular participation in the seminar, oral presentation of the student's own project and its written presentation (exposé). Students are also expected to read the seminar literature. The written work is expected to be submitted at the end of the term.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The minimum requirements are the completion of all partial performances. The exposé is assessed with 50%, presentation and discussion with 25% each.
