Aims, contents and method of the course

Survey of the religious history of the Middle East in pre-islamic times with a particular focus on Mesopotamia

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam; the first opportunity to sit the exam will be during the last meeting of the class in the summer term. Three more opportunities will be offered at the beginning, middle and end of the winter term of 2020.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

7-10 questions for 8 or 16 points each, for a maximum of 80 points key to grading: < 40: fail (5); <51: 4; < 61: 3; <72: 2, above: 1
