Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Das Sumerische: Überblick über die sumerische Grammatik und ihren forschungsgeschichtlichen Hintergrund; Aneignung eines Basis-Wortschatzes im Sumerischen; Grundlagen der sumerischen Keilschrift-Paläografie; Übersicht über die wichtigsten Hilfsmittel.Die "Basics" werden primär über Frontalunterricht vermittelt (Prüfung am Ende des Semester); die Präsentation sowie eine Sammlung von Übungen (Lernunterlagen) werden über Moodle zur Verfügung gestellt.Da es sich aber um eine Sprachlehrveranstaltung handelt, enthält auch die Vorlesung zahlreiche Übungen (z.B. Texte analysieren), um die präsentierten Inhalte zu erläutern und zu festigen. Eine entsprechende Vor- und Nachbereitung der Studierenden hierzu ist sinnvoll.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam in the last meeting of the class at the end of the semester (June) or in the following semester. There will be four opportunities to take the exam.
