Study of the literature to a subject in particle physics, indentifying problems in that context and working on them.
Assessment and permitted materials
Die Beurteilung basiert auf der Mitarbeit und der Protokollführung bei den Ausbildungsbeispielen.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of knowledge and know-how necessary for performing a master thesis in particle phyiscs.
Examination topics
Mathematical treatment of problems using analysis and linear algebra, numerical methods with computers.
