Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course enables students to write a bachelor thesis within the new curriculum. The scientific question, which has been defined in advance with one of the participating teachers, is worked on under individual supervision and the results are written as a Bachelor thesis. In the seminar units, the students have the opportunity to present the content of the bachelor work to their colleagues.
Assessment and permitted materials
- Bachelor thesis (typically 15-20 text pages + data/graphs/references)
- Presentation of the Bachelor results in the seminar
- Presentation of the Bachelor results in the seminar
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Minimal requirement:
- Submission of a valid thesis
- Presentation of the thesis results in the seminar
- Participation in the Bachelor seminar >80% of the timeGrading of the Bachelor's seminar is based on the following assessments:
- Evaluation of the Bachelor thesis by the supervisor (75% of the total grade). This is done according to correctness and background knowledge.
- Evaluation of the presentation (25% of the total grade).
