Aims, contents and method of the course

topics: pure/mixed quantum states, Bloch's ball in higher dimensions, geometries of Hilbert-Schmidt spaces, entanglement versus separability, teleportation/super dense coding, basics of quantum computing, decoherence, generalized measurements (POVMs)
