Assessment and permitted materials
For a positive assessment of the course you need to attend at least 80% of the scheduled colloquium talks.Grading (maximum 100 points):
maximum of 89 points for in-person attendance (signature list - please make sure to sign the list when you arrive!)
- % of your attendance * 89 = attendance points
maximum of 11 points for active participation in the discussion (and the Meet-the-speaker session)Grading scheme:
>90 points 1
>80-90 points 2
>70-80 points 3
>60-70 points 4

Please check in advance if the next colloquium will be in-person or online.Structure of the course:
Talk + discussion should take around 1 hour. This is followed by a closed 30 minute Meet-the-speaker session between the students and the speaker. Meet-the-speaker sessions will only be organized if 5 or more students register.The students are expected to actively participate in the discussion as well as in the following Meet-the-speaker session.
