Drawing on literature, students are familiarized with fundamental conceptual perspectives on sustainable tourism, overtourism, and evoutionary economic geography and apply them to specific tourism regions. By writing a project proposal in small groups, students develop practical solutions for sustainability deficits in tourism regions.
The seminar has a workshop character and uses a mix of different methods (e.g. lecture parts, student presentations, discussions, exercises, group work).
