Classes
Scientific Practice (MMEI) is an internship (lab rotation) in individual research labs, aimed at training students in scientific laboratory practice in the context of research questions/hypotheses addressed in the chosen lab. These exercises should be carried out as preparatory work for the Master's thesis. These internships can be carried out in ANY microbiology- or molecular biology-related research labs of your choice at the institutes of campus Vienna Biocenter, research institutes in Vienna and beyond (also internationally) or in R&D laboratories of for-profit industrial partners. PLEASE IGNORE THE LIST OF LECTURERS ABOVE; you should coordinate the internship with individual lab heads of your choice. DO NOT ALLOCATE POINTS FOR THESE INTERNSHIPS! THERE IS NO REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THESE INTERNSHIPS; registrations are possible throughout the year by filling out the registration form available at https://molekularebiologie.univie.ac.at/en/lab-internships/lab-internships-grosspraktikum-and-vertiefungsuebungen/
Prerequisite for this internship is completion of the introductory module MMEI I.
