Mid-semester test (30%), end-of-term test (40%), two mini tests (15% each). No additional materials/electronic devices permitted.

Possible topics: Tense/Aspect, Mood, Voice, Conditionals, Inversion, Word formation, Lexical/Syntactic Creativity in English Modals, Catenative Verbs, Reported Speech, Relative Clauses, Determiners, Adjectives vs. Adverbs;
Methods:
Discussion in plenum, pair work, group work. Inverted classroom model.
