Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar has three aims: (1) to discuss dissertation projects in the field of science and technology studies; (2) to analyse methods related problems which come up in the dissertation projects; (3) to engage with selected readings on recent debates in science and technology studies. The aim of the seminar is to get feedback for your dissertation project from your peer and the lecturer, to debate methodological issues, to exercise a critical analysis of other students' projects, to practice presentation techniques, and to discuss more recent developments in STS. This seminar is meant for doctoral students, who address issues of science, technology and society questions in their thesis. Students who have not yet passed their ‚fakultätsöffentliche Präsentation’ will only be admitted on an exceptional basis.
