Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar deals with different topics on comparative linguistics regarding the South Slavic languages in combination with the analysis of old south Slavic texts
Assessment and permitted materials
seminar thesis, to be written until 1 April 2018; active participation; short presentations
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Understanding of the methods of comparative linguistics and their application on the South Slavic languages

Reading list
G. Holzer, Historische Grammatik des Kroatischen. Einleitung und Lautgeschichte der Standardsprache , Frankfurt am Main 2007. Further literature will be communicated during the lectures depending on the respective topics.
