Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Im Seminar werden bosnische, kroatische, serbische und ggf. bulgarische Wörter im Hinblick auf ihre Herkunft und ihre Vorformen sowie auch auf ihre derivatorischen Zusammenhänge mit anderen Wörtern untersucht und die dafür notwendigen linguistischen Methoden, insbesondere die der historisch-vergleichenden Sprachwissenschaft und der Generativistik, eingeübt. Ziel sind ein grundsätzliches Verständnis für etymologische Zusammenhänge und eine möglichst weitgehende Lesekompetenz für etymologische Fachliteratur, insbesondere etymologische Wörterbücher.

Assessment and permitted materials

Beurteilt werden die bis zum 1. April 2019 abzugebende Bachelor-Seminararbeit sowie die Mitarbeit während des Semesters, die unter anderem auch darin besteht, dass Kostproben der entstehenden Seminararbeit laufend vorgestellt und zur Diskussion gestellt werden.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Mitarbeit im oben genannten Sinne und Verfassen einer fachkompetenten und informativen Bachelor-Seminararbeit in gebildeter und von klarer Gedankenführung geleiteter Sprache.
