Marie Krebs, BA MA

I am a doctoral student and university assistant in North American literary, film, cultural, and media studies at the University of Vienna. My research focusses on the politics and poetics of Anglophone genre film, television, literature, and audiodrama, primarily within the realm of horror.

I also work as an administrative and research assistant for the ERC/FWF-funded project Poetry Off the Page, which investigates the history of UK and Irish spoken word poetry and poetry performance from 1965 to the present day.
