Bernhard Lauxmann is Managing Director of the Volunteer Academy of the EKHN in Darmstadt and a qualified lecturer with habilitation in Practical Theology at the University of Vienna. Previously, he was Section Head at the EZW in Berlin and a substitute professor in Halle-Wittenberg. He is currently unavailable for supervising qualification theses.

His research focuses on Christian identities in social media, preaching practice, volunteer work, and conspiracy thinking in religious contexts. Additionally, he explores spiritual influencing and ritual design.
