Die Studieneingangs- und Orientierungsphase unterscheidet sich von der Vorgängerversion (siehe B. Bachelorstudium Soziologie A033 505 [1]) grundlegend. Das Lehrveranstaltungsangebot der darauf aufbauenden Module in Theorien, Methoden und Anwendungen sowie der ergänzenden Fächer ist in beiden Versionen des Bachelorstudiums identisch.
