23.01. Sociology

Soziologie kann seit dem WS 02/03 an der Universität Wien als geistes- und kulturwissenschaftliche Studienrichtung oder als rechts-, sozial- und wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Studienrichtung studiert werden.

All jene, die vor dem WS 2002/03 den geistes- oder sozialwissenschaftlichen Studienzweig Soziologie an der Universität Wien inskribiert haben, können dieses Studium nach dem alten Studienplan fortsetzen und innerhalb der gesetzlich geregelten Übergangsfrist beenden oder freiwillig auf die neuen Studienpläne umsteigen.

Soziologie im Rahmen der geistes- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Studienrichtungen wird als Bakkalaurats- und Magister/Magistra-Studium geführt und schließt nach 6 Semestern mit dem Bakk.Soz., nach weiteren 2 Semestern mit dem Mag.Soz. ab.

Soziologie im Rahmen der rechts-, sozial- und wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Studienrichtungen wird als 8-semestriges Diplomstudium geführt und schließt mit Mag.rer.soc.oec. ab.

Im Folgenden sind zunächst die Lehrveranstaltungen gegliedert nach den Fächern des Bakkalaureats- und Magister/Magistrastudiums und nach dem auslaufenden geisteswissenschaftlichen Studienzweig angeführt.
Im Anschluss finden Sie die Lehrveranstaltungen des Diplomstudiums Soziologie und des auslaufenden sozial- und wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Studienzweigs angeführt.

Gleichwertige Lehrveranstaltungen können ohne formale Anrechnung aus beiden Studienrichtungen bzw. Studienzweigen gewählt werden. Eine entsprechende Liste finden Sie auf der Website des Instituts.

Bei der Bezeichnung Seminarraum 1, 2 und 3 handelt es sich um die Seminarräume am Institut für Soziologie, Rooseveltplatz 2, 1. Stock. HS bezeichnet die allgemeinen Hörsäle der Universität im Universitäts-Hauptgebäude oder NIG. Alle Lehrveranstaltungen sind anmeldepflichtig. Für prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltungen mit beschränkter TeilnehmerInnenanzahl (alles außer VO) gibt es eine Anmeldefrist.
Achtung: neuer Anmeldemodus ab Sommersemester 07!!!
Ab diesem Semester verwendet das Institut für Soziologie einen Präferenzanmeldemodus. Das heißt, der Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung ist nicht an einen speziellen Tag gebunden. Sie können sich daher im gesamten Anmeldezeitraum vom 15.02.2007 bis 22.02.2007 für die LVen anmelden (gegebenenfalls kann sich dieser Zeitraum noch verändern!).
