MMB V. Scientific Practice (20 ECTS)

Scientific Practice I and II are internships (lab rotations) in individual research labs, aimed at training students in scientific method and various research techniques in the context of research questions/hypotheses addressed in the chosen lab. These internships can be carried out in ANY molecular biology-related research labs of your choice at the institutes of campus Vienna Biocenter, research institutes in Vienna and beyond (also internationally) or in R&D laboratories of for-profit industrial partners. DO NOT ALLOCATE POINTS FOR THESE INTERNSHIPS! THERE IS NO REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THESE INTERNSHIPS; registrations are possible throughout the year by filling out the registration form available at https://molekularebiologie.univie.ac.at/en/lab-internships/scientific-practice/ and forwarding it for approval to the coordinator.
