Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

in the framework of the newly established Teaching Quantum Informatics Lab TEQUILA, in this lab course students will build fundamental quantum algorithms (including quantum teleportation, dense coding, Deutsch-Jozsa, BB84, Shor) hands-on, using several Educational Kits. The resulting emulated quantum circuits will be studied and evaluated in detail which will contribute to a deeper understanding of quantum computing basics.
The lab course aims particularly at Bachelor and Master students in computer science, physics and mathematics. Some basic knowledge about Quantum Computing (e.g. from finishing the StEOP lecture TGI) is assumed or has to be acquired independently during the first phase of the course.

Assessment and permitted materials

Lab procotols, reports, short presentation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Positive evaluation of the tasks.

Examination topics

Will be announced during the course.
