Students who would like to write their MA thesis from a historical perspective on the following regions/topics are welcome to contact me:
African labour history/global labour history with a focus on Africa; trade union history, especially of the WFTU, ICFTU, AATUF, workers and trade unions in Guinea, Ghana, Mali, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Angola. East-South relations with a focus on Africa, especially GDR-Africa relations; student mobility of African students in Eastern Europe; knowledge production at African universities, history of mobility and technology with relation to Africa, particular trucks and buses.
